Some of you might be curious how we capture ducks. Bellow is a short video of the way of capturing ducks with more emotion...

The above video was the first session of teal captures with cannon netting at EVOA, in November 2015. Since many years we didn't used this technique...

On January 2016 there were much less teal (very warm winter...), but we managed to capture more teal - see below!

After some seasons not so good for cannon netting at EVOA, during 2019-20 we had new records and the video bellow shows the new absolute record for captures within a day, including all species and capture methods!!!...

On October 2018 we didn't fired the cannons, at the end of the day, because there were too many ducks, including the target pintails - I had teaching classes the following morning at 8:30h... Since that day we hadn't pintails at netting area in numbers that justified a capture.  During Autumn 2021 we managed to capture pintails twice with cannon netting and on October we captured more pintails within a session than the 29 previous years, being that also established another new absolute record for captures within a day, including all species and capture methods!!!...
